We all grew up playing and singing in church.  From the time we were children, we all had a desire to work for the Lord.  

Jordan, Leah, and Lesha are siblings.  Their mother sang and played piano in church...and we were right there by her side very early on.  Fast forward to June of 2011: Jordan had started writing songs and started recording demos of those songs in hopes that an established band would be interested in singing them.  Leah and Lesha sang harmonies on the demo recordings, and that led to the idea that they could start their own band...and that's what they did.

Between 2013 and 2014, Greg, Rick, and Preston joined Blind Mercy.  In 2017, Adam Rogers of the Steve Rogers Family band joined Blind Mercy.  We are so thankful that God led them all to Blind Mercy.  They're amazing musicians with a heart to serve God.  

After only a few seconds of listening to Blind Mercy live, it will be completely clear that they're not your ordinary Christian band.  Jordan, Leah, and Lesha have that "something special" that you only get from family harmonies.  Unlike a lot of other bands, we use no soundtracks.  We are a full band!  Bass, drums, guitars, steel guitars, harmonica, and 3-part harmony...a full live band!  

We were all raised on traditional and Southern Gospel music.  We were heavily influenced by The Crabb Family, The Isaacs, The Gaither Vocal Band, The Hinsons, The Happy Goodmans, and many others.  In recent years, we've all served on Praise & Worship ministries and have been influenced by Third Day, Casting Crowns, Kari Jobe, MercyMe, and a lot of others.  Today, Blind Mercy incorporates all of those influences into a new sound.  We have a distinctly modern Country sound...we can be as traditional or as modern as you'd like.  

Whether you're looking for a band for a regular service, special service (e.g. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc), youth service, homecoming, outdoor festival, concert festival, or any other special event, we're your band!
