Jordan began playing guitar at age 11. Over time, he learned to also play bass, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, and dobro. But his first love is the guitar. He has sung with his sisters, Leah and Lesha, for as long as he can remember. He’s also sung with many local bands over the last 20 years…most of those were Bluegrass bands.
In 2011, after about an 8-year hiatus from songwriting, he sat down and began to write songs again. Songwriting lead to audio recording. Who better to sing harmony on his recordings than Leah and Lesha?! Those recordings that were supposed to be sent to established bands led to the three of them forming Blind Mercy.
Jordan is the band leader. He also records, mixes, and masters our recordings and videos. When Blind Mercy is not in concert, he is the lead guitarist at Jersey Holiness Church. He also helps Leah in the Worship Team at Monroe First Congregational Holiness Church on Tuesdays and special services. Jordan has a strong desire to be used where the Lord wants to use him.
